Very subjective question, but I'll attempt an opinion:

(1) Cell phone - I'm happy enough with Sprint, but you have the biggies (Verizon, AT & T, T-Mobil, Alltell, etc) here to choose from;
(2) Internet - I have a cable modem and use Cox. They're ont perfect, but good enough. You also have DSL with Bell South/AT & T. And AT & T is eventually going to offer a "U Verse" package here;
(3) Cable/satellite TV - I use Cox digital cable. Direct TV is here, but I don't like the idea of having a to run extra lines in my attic/house to install the antenna, and I want local channels (I think this may have changed, but I'm happy enough with the cable service to not want to fool around with another company)

Assuming you are living within BTR or maybe just EBR Parish:

I am very happy with COX for my cable, internet and phone. At the beginning I was saving a ton a month when I switched from three separate services to one (COX). Now I'm not saving as much, but still am. Plus the service has been good for me. Internet bandwidth is adequate and rarely interrupted for anything, same goes for my cable tv. Any service disruptions I've noticed have been late at night (early morning) which works for me. Contrary to popular belief, digital phone does work without power assuming you have a regular corded phone that is powered thru the phone lines and not by electricity.

Cell phones: I think Cingluar/AT&T is the major player here although I've always liked Alltel. I know from friends and family that there are some pretty big dead areas "down the bayou" south and west of LA-1 across the river (especially with AT&T). I'm never over there long enough for it to bother me though.
Elsewhere in the general metro area, I don't know of any service problems.

If you're in Ascension, EATEL is a fairly good provider from what I've heard and experienced. Especially their internet.

Cox cable. They are offering a bundle package at this time...cable, internet, and phone for 89.99 a mth before taxes!
AT&T is also bundleing services for cable, internet,and phone. I'm not sure of the price or phone numbers. You can go to www.google.com and search!
