My 3.5 years old son has autism and cerebral palsy. Which center provides best service for autism and cerebral palsy? Would you recommend any good therapist in baton Rouge for Speech, physical, occupational, ABA therapy. I have heard mixed reviews about Baton Rouge speech and hearing foundation. Has anyone had any experience with them or with Behavior intervention group?

If both of them are not good, then I might consider going to Houston, or Monroe (Autism learning center), or Lake Charles (Mc Neese program). Please tell me if you have any experience with any of these?

Thanks,

I work with kids who have Autism- used to be in BR and now am in Texas.

THe best speech center in town is this one:

Access to Better Communication
768 Chevelle Drive
Baton Rouge, LA 70806-6503
(225) 930-0208

Not sure if they do dual diagnoses, but it's wroth a shot. Also for ABA therapy, I know there are several BCBA's in town that do home based programs- look up Board certified behavior analysts here: Look under "certificate registry"
BACB (http://www.bacb.com/consum_frame.html - broken link)
