Gorgeous view of Exxon-Mobil..

Who owns those houses behind the state capitol lake? Ted Dunham?

Zoom in and scroll all the way to the right. You can see the Exxon Refinery but you can see houses on the right. I've always been curious about this.. and Ted Dunham is all I know?

LOL - other than in THAT direction, you get some interesting views !

The houses you are referring to tucked away behind the Gov's mansion are private residences. One of them is owned by Randy Haynie (a very well known lobbyist).

In the Haynie house ?

It's an interesting area - a street of nice houses surrounded by not so nice residential and industrial areas. But within that street it's pretty secluded.

On your visit to the Capitol building, get someone to point out the bullet holes in the wall where Huey P. Long was shot.
