That looks like a repost of a chart posted by several others recently. Does it really need a repeat? Not sure what it has to do with weather on the Mountain.

Steve, That would make sense and would seem normal for PNW mountains. Timberline gets more snow than Bachelor so not surprised to read of your experience there.

what is also interesting is what one person considers "bad" weather another make find good and exciting. obviously depends on what your doing, the same weather I may enjoy the person driving or working may call bad.

Looking forward to living somewhere with weather so different from here. sorry to read about those who didnt understand the climate out there before moving there.

Actually Weather doesn't bother me. I love Arizona in all its climate zones. I also love Oregon, Wet, Dry, Snow, or Wind. About the only thing I disliked about the Midwest and Texas was the Tornados, and now Oregon is getting more reported then years past, so no big deal there either, and I have had them pass a couple of car lengths from me.

First I had not seen that chart before today and I found it very enlightening. I knew many from CA were moving up here but I would have guessed more from NoCal. But SoCal leads by a huge margin!

Second it is directly related to earlier posts in this thread speaking of the wonderful warm welcome Californian's receive when moving to this area.

Third this is not a weather specific thread.

Glad you are able to enjoy all the different kinds of weather, I enjoy the changing seasons, winter is my favorite season, fall is second. Looking forward to Bend's drier climate, nicer summers (except the wildfires) the closeness to different climate zones.

Since this is the charm that is Bend thread I will add that I look forward to Bend's "charming weather" that and living with all the Californians....

Snow is only one factor and not the biggest issue on rough days. I'd guess there are days where Bachelor may be limping along with frontside only lifts while Meadows, Ski Bowl, and Timberline are running just fine. I have heard that Bachelor gets some of the most extreme weather in the PNW with heavy winds and ice during many storms. Friends that lived in Alaska say the weather reminds them of Alyeska Resort

BTW the Timberline lodge is awesome. Definitely worth a visit.

See this video for work at Bachelor after a big storm

Selling their homes in California for five times what they are worth and paying 25% more for their Oregon home than their actual value.

Seriously? I'm not sure why we need to continue to hash this out. I never said "wonderful warm welcome" but guess that's what you heard. Ugh. Why don't you go post in one of the various other threads about disliking Californians if you need an answer. I don't think you'll find it in this thread.
