I've heard whispers of some new restaurants coming to town. Anyone have any detailed news? What have you heard?

Any more details on the area of town? Type of food? Ownership? I honestly love rumors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BT-6kp0ZPC8

I'm hoping the property which JUST got bought up next to Devoures across the street from Newport is this rumor you're hearing. Would love to have another locally run, locally sourced restaurant on Newport!

Wow! That sold fast! I noticed another house just went for sale on Galveston too. So much construction happening right now.

Most of the activity I've heard about is happening along century... Pub, pizza, burgers...

New restaurants are a common occurrence. The restaurants downtown are like a game of musical chairs.

A new pub on Century? That would be cool. Any details?

The property on Newport that I took a picture of is going to be a boutique furniture shop of some sort. I stopped by yesterday and asked. So sadly I guess that's not the new restaurant you heard about.
