Here is my list of the clothing that i'm going to bring with me for my clothing list ..

business clothing

2-sets of levi drocker dress pants
2-sets of button down l.s. dress shirts
2-sets of ties with tie bars and cuff links
1-set of dress shoes
1-dress belt

everyday casual dress clothing

2-sets of levi blue jean pants
2-sets of multi pocket cargo shorts
2-sets of causal dress shirts
2-sets of hawaiian shirts
4-sets of t-shirts
1-set of hikeing boots
1-set of thick soled flip flops
1-belt
1-Ma1 flight jacket to wear if i go back to the mainland it winter time there .

along with underwear and socks and sleeping clothing

the plan is to wear the hikeing boots with socks rolled down ontop of the boot top with the cargo shorts

also part of the plan is get rid of alot of the dress clothing that i have to keep the basic wardrobe down to the basic level

you won't need the button down shirts or the ties, tie belt or cuff links

Aloha,
Dress aloha shirts are good for 98% of what you will need to use here on the Big Island I havenʻt seen a tie here look what our governor wears for the most part in and out of his office
Oh and what are cuff links?

I have all that kine of stuff they just sit in the closet and get old and dusty i take them out if I need them on the mainland but not here

Good luck
Koa

Henry, I thought that you would be retired when you move here. Why do you feel that you need to bring “business” clothes? And how often are you planning jury duty? I've seen attorneys wear suits, but no one else. Maybe people would be a little dressier in Honolulu, but you're talking about the Big Island. Casual aloha clothes every day!

Noticed that you left bathing suit and water shoes off your list. Must more useful than any dress-up clothes.
