I just made a police report today, about stolen weedeater, I called non-emergency line for this issue and the dispatcher told me we will send someone right away. I was standing outside for 2 hours as my road is hidden. They finally call back my house and say sorry we are to busy right now.

Really what type of police department is this?

Wow - between your police test, your craigslist "scam" and your weedeater - they really have it in for you.

I aint complaining about the test I acknowledge I did poorly on it due to my answers being off by one. I think the craigslist is important as well cause people like this are looking to harm others, but the officer who helped me out with my weedeater was very professional and said hes going to try do everything to find it.

That's great news. Must be some kind of a weedeater to cost $800.

Well, policemen can get unexpectedly busy any minute, so the fact they said they were sending someone right away doesn't mean an emergency won't be reported before they have a chance to get to you. That's the point of calling the non-emergency number, you know you won't be a priority.

I commend you for calling the non-emergency number though, too many people call 911 for the most trivial things. Heck, I've noticed a lot of people don't even know the non-emergency number!

Reminds me of a situation that happened in 1992. A friend and I were hired to work at Proctor & Gamble in Sacramento. We arrived late at night and found a motel with 24/7 security. I backed the truck up to our unit's window and saw the guards walking around the building. The next morning my utility bed had been broken into and all our tools had been stolen. I called the police and gave the officer a report over the phone.
Three days later after hearing nothing I called the Sheriffs office and asked how the investigation was going. He told me their focus was on murders and other serious crimes and to call my insurance company for restitution.
"Bigger fish to fry."
