I haven't found anything that's compared for me personally yet, but the only place I felt like I could have some of the same love for was Montana in the summer time. The scenery was so glorious, it was a very eco-friendly place, the people were all so warm and nice, the wildlife and history/culture was so interesting. Although not simliar, I felt a lot of the same things I feel in Hawai'i.

New Zealand, the South Island has the mountains and fjords and the north island is subtropical with tree ferns. They also have volcanos and nice beaches - ninety mile beach is great. And Polynesian culture with the Maori.
