MDand3boys mentioned a few years ago that there is somebody who builds beautiful tiled swimming pools. I'm buying a house in Puna and am looking to build one of these. Also, is it that difficult or expensive to build a swimming pool below ground ? I suppose it would be hitting rock most likely being that it is in Puna. In Hawaiian Paradise Park.

Skyline Pool and Spa is in Menlo Park, California and, per their ad that you quoted, they serve the "Bay area". You do know where Hilo, Hawaii is located, don't you?

Wouldn't a tile pool be a no-no due to seismic activity?
I would think it would crack in time with the amount of shifting happening on that corner of the island.
One of those inserts would seem more viable to me.

Given the poor link/email formatting and that the account joined on the same day as the thread, I'm guessing Bill also resorts to spambots to drum up business...
