I am trying to find a large enough bird bath that I could easily attach to the side of a cage for my Blue Front Amazon. I had found a large enough bird bath online but it was only sold in the UK and not in the US. I want something that my bird won't destroy in a few days/weeks/months. Perhaps something about 8 inches in diameter. I don't want to put something at the bottom of the cage that my bird will just poop in.

Do you have anyone who is handy in your family? I know my late husband would have "invented" a solution for you! Maybe something with a stainless steel bowl? I can picture something with that in my head right now. Good luck!

We just bring them into the shower with us. They enjoy it. Or spray them with the garden hose in the yard. One of ours loves that

My Amazon doesn't like to be picked up. Shower perch wouldn't be an option.

Does she like a spray bottle? You can give her nice bath that way. I bought a cat fountain for my rescued, self mutilating ****-a-too and let her have at it. She is afraid of the spray bottle so she can play in the fountain and then we sometimes put her in the sink. She doesn't appreciate the sink much but you can always wrap your Amazon in a towel and do it. She may be mad at you for a little while.

My thanks to everybody who offered suggestions. I found a pet supply company online that had a large metal bowl that hung from the side of a cage that is 9 1/2 inches round and 3 inches tall. Should fit the bill for me.
