I bought my parakeets to work with me to keep me some company during these 12 hour days. I presently have them just outside in Clearview so that they can talk to the outside and hear the sounds outside. There isn't much going on in the office except for me and I have to run outside sometimes ... would it be better to just have it so that they can see me and listen to whatever I have to say inside? Or should I leave them outside where they are undoubtably get more stimulation? This is the pair of birdies that appear to be friends in the cage by them self.

And before someone asks, there are NO predatory or dangerous animals or hawks or cats or anything, I would see them coming from a mile away and across a very long parking lot if so .

Bonding...

Birdies are presently "puffed up" and "preening," indicating happy!

No food, no water, and no toys? Cage and feeder doors not secured? By the time you got outside, a cat or hawk could have knocked the cage over and scared them to death if not injured them or allowed them to escape. Left in the sun? Exhaust fumes from a busy highway?

Please get a book on budgie care (Amazon has several, just type "budgie" in the search box in the "Books" category) and find a budgie specific forum (I don't believe I'm allowed to link one, unfortunately).

Your first paragraph is incorrect.

Why do you think you're not allowed to link to a budgie forum?

*edit: KCZ, can you Inbox me the link to that forum please?
