Well look at those little guys!

I guess they aren't cute yet, but give them a week or two.

Do you have any friends or relatives who might want a pet bird?

I've started hand-feeding them now! I got the formula and the babies are really taking to it. They're looking at me now like I'm their momma bird! This is so weird!

Thanks, everyone! Here's another feeding pic. These babies are eating well -- I'm feeding them every 4 to 5 hours, and each time I have to make up a fresh batch of formula.

The baby lovies are bonding to you because you are feeding them. They really do think that you are mummy bird.

This is an incredible experience! I can see the babies getting stronger each day. As soon as they see either the eye-dropper or my finger they start vigorously bobbing their heads and wriggling towards me. Plus, they let me handle them, which none of my other lovebirds will do.

I'm hoping that eventually these babies will be so used to me that they'll be flying right to me and perching on my shoulder like I see in a lot of YouTube videos.

Have you decided to keep them?

I don't think that I'd be able to part with them after feeding them...

Unless you want to start breeding lovebirds for sale, you're going to need a second cage so you can split mama bird and poppa bird up before they can lay lay more fertile clutches.
