Is peanuts safe for all birds? (parrots, canary)

Kaytee waste free bird seeds blend includes peanuts. Does this mean it's 100% safe for all birds? Are all of these ingredients 100% for birds?

I feed chopped peanuts to the squirrels, the birds love 'em too. I've seen woodpeckers, cardinals, wrens, doves, jays, and basically every seed eater....except finches eating the peanuts. Not only do the chopped peanuts feed the birds as a side benefit, it prevents the squirrels from stashing whole peanuts in my yard.

The only birds that eat the whole raw peanuts in the shell are the blue jays. They will pick up the contents of an entire bag in less than 15 minutes. The first jay notifies the others with a shriek, and the rest descend like a blitz. I do throw out chopped raw peanuts that are eaten by the cardinals and the nuthatches, as well as the squirrels of course.

I can't say they are safe for all birds, but in the decades that I raised parrots of all sizes they liked them and I always made them available as an occasional treat. In the wild, parrots don't naturally eat peanuts since peanuts grow underground just like potatoes.
