It's about time. Their current facade is a bit outdated for it to be in the heart of a major nightlife and dining area of a major US city. The (current) facade gives me suburban shopping center storefront, circa 1966.

This company in Orlando owns and operates some very nice restaurants. I think it will be a perfect fit for Brookwood. Also, it appears to me that the new owners of Brookwood have hit the road running. Credit to Colonial for the rebirth of the center architecturally, but I think Cypress has already surpassed them in bringing exciting change, where as Colonial just seemed to rest on its laurels after the remodel.

And the pizza chains keep on coming...great. Uncle Maddios is opening at Lee Branch, and I think that someone mentioned that Brixx is coming to Patton Creek.

Garage to open at Riverchase Galleria this summer - Birmingham Business Journal

Brahmin Leather Works opens at the Summit - Birmingham Business Journal
