There are no income requirements but you do get a lot of food for the money. You get all the food in the box listed. This is this months menu.

You pay in advance and can order online. You pick up on the last Saturday of the month (pickup at your site). I have bought them all and the only one I don't care for is the convenience meals.
Most of the food is restaurant quality.

I concur, when I lost my job money was tight. A friend told me of Angel Food Ministries. We buy exclusively from them now except for toiletries and non-food items. Mucho food for the money........now that I have a new job we will continue to buy from them. You don't have to be in a bad situation to use them.......it's really just a food distribution business that uses churches and volunteers instead of having stores and alot of overhead.

I was going to suggest Angel Food too, but since he is a student I assumed he might have not had a lot of freezer storage. That is a great option though, if you have the space you can get a lot of food for around 30 bucks.

Angel Food, I'll definitely check them out. But no, I only have a regular sized refirgerator so I wouldn't be able to store much. But I'll definitely check them out.

Wow, thanks for showing me Angel Foods. Man, I see two that are close by or close to areas I've shopped at since I've moved up here.

And there's several back in my old college town would've saved me a ton of but wow.

I think you can fit it in a regular size freezer as long as you don't have your beer mugs stored in there.. LOL

Seriously.. they do have smaller boxes plus specialty boxes too. The good thing is you no longer have to buy the signature box in order to purchase the food.

Good Luck
