Renovation and new Von Maur at Galleria.
Opening of new Target at Brookwood Village with announced further retail developement next to the store.
Opening of the new Seasons52 at the Summit. (this restaurant is great)
Opening of Nordstrom Rack in Inverness.
Continuing work on the complete rebuilding of the aiport terminal, and doubling its size.
Viva Health renovating the Region Plaza.
Thomas Jefferson hotel finally being restored.
Trinity hospital getting the project out of court and on its way.
The Grande Bohemian Hotel is like a project of its own at Lane Parke.
Another apt. building across from TwentySeven/Nine in Lakeview.
The city working on taking the 'old' Social Security building for police/admin/backroom.

A lot of retail and restaurants are headed this way in the next twelve months, but most of what I listed above will be finished in eight months according to announcements. This exclude the airport, a year to go there and it is worth it.

I hope this wasn't overkill and I may remember something so be warned.

Good thing about this is bringing 250 more employees downtown.

Also getting rid of the concrete plant on the adjoining property. This is going to really clean up the view coming in from the north.

I love it! Birmingham is doing great. I just wish it was growing much faster than what it is.

Birmingham needs to grow faster. It's so stagnant.
