No doubt having access to both 78 and 20 is a great advantage similar to 31 and 65 and a whole lot better then havin just 280 to deal with.

The Gateway concept is neat in name and concept...at least until the CSA sprawls out to Anniston and they have to build a Doormat or Driveway Centre out there.

Might, but I would think north Jefferson and south Blount would come along before that does.

North Jefferson, yeah especially along the I-65 corridor. Cant say the same for the AL 75 and 79 corridors, only because it would only lead to another potential "280" type situations traffic wise. Same deal with South Blount.

I agree...terrain may be a problem with South Blount. South Blount more than likely will remain a bedroom area. North Bubble, East Tuscaloosa, and SW Jefferson are likely the nextplace to be.
