Hello, I currently live across from Highland Golf and Tennis in beautiful Highland Park. I want a fresh start in new place but am finding more and more that the location of my apartment is great. It's very quiet because unless u live in one of the apartment complexes then u have no reason to be in the area. I'm walking distance to Rushton and Rojo as well as a bit further to get to Rhodes. The Pig and CVS are a few minutes away. I don't see that these other areas in and around Southside are as beautiful and as quiet. Highland Park is full of trees and parks. So I can stay where I am with a place I'm not thrilled with due to old appliances and no laminate or hardwoods but location is perfect. Or, do I leave Highland Park
and go to the Glen Iris area?

I would suggest SoHo or English Village for peace and quiet and walkability, but I imagine the pricing is going to be a drastic change. Maybe just hang in there another year or two when all the new options open up downtown.
