What is the Height restriction for Downtown Bham? Midtown could use a ccouple 40,50+ story high rises an maybe an 60+ midtown also. Which would I imagine cause shade for midtown an Parkside. Adding those 3 high rises midtown would to me create a strong symbolic meaning for the ongoing Birmingham ' s Southern region an national Region economical Resurgence .
I wonder if any highrise condos or apartments, office building planned to help shift the Skyline to another level. What do you say?

Really, are you delusional? You should work for the chamber of commerce in Bham.

@Bigstick, give the guy break.

@205, I love big city skylines, and while what you describe would be great, I said in another thread, you don't build a city on a "if you build it, they will come" basis. Same with downtown buildings. Is there a demand that would justify such buildings? No developer will waste his or her time and money to build something when there's no demand for it, or they scale down their original plan.
