Hi everyone, I'm new here. I'm beyond ecstatic though. I'm 24, I grew up in East Lake. I'm currently in Atlanta because I'm a Music Producer and Engineer. I plan to move back permanently in 2016. I can't express how amazing all the things are that are going on within the metro and city of Birmingham. I love my city!

Personally, I feel like if Birmingham is to take a longer leap, the politicians in Montgomery need to open their eyes and get onboard. Also, the suburbs of Birmingham need to consolidate more politically with Birmingham.

In no particular order:

1) Movie theater
2) Outlet Mall or Indoor Mall (City Center)
3) Bowling alley
4) Better transportation system
5) More Parks
6) Sidewalks
7) Raise property tax
8) Raise minimum wage to $10
9) Raise gasoline tax no more than 8 cents.
10) Free two year community college tuition to all qualifying applicants
11) A $5,000 grant to any qualifying minority startup business owner (must stay in city)
12) City funded after school tutors

Personally, I'm a Republican. However, I believe with the right system and support my ideas could and would work. Perhaps, I'm wrong, very wrong. With that being said, good day everyone!

Hello.

I think 20 Midtown and the Powell Avenue Steam Plant have the potential to cover possibly #1, 2, and 3. And if not, I believe they will spawn related developments that will. There are just so many residential projects going on that these will soon be a must.

#4 and 6 are going being worked on with Uber friendly legislation on the table and the need to be ready for the World Games.

#5 More parks...other than the Rotary trail I don't know of any other major parks on the table, unless the redevelopment of South town includes one.

#8 is definitely on the table.

The rest, I think, would have to happen at the Federal level (except #11) of which I think are all ideas worth exploring.

Punctuation marks would make this readable.

Don't worry about it. They are a now re-banned member... Ambition15, Camnewton, Urbanvibes, the list goes on...

In a few weeks or months they will sign up for another account, make 30 pro birmingham posts in about 2 days and then be banned again.

LOL....I kind of expected that. I think there's a similar "troll" on the HSV page as well.
