Birmingham has a lot to offer when it comes to barbecue. Who has the best? (pick one)

Oh, wow.

You're going to get a zillion different answers, with fistfights likely breaking out. You have tomato-based, vinegar-based, and mustard-based sauces.

I'll take my lumps first. My default is Full Moon. If I am really feeling frisky, I'll drive down to eat at Archibald's in Tuscaloosa.

There is no right answer here, but that won't stop people from opining.

You don’t go to Birmingham for BBQ. You go to Sylacauga and go to a place called August’s on hwy 280.

I don't eat meat, so I'm the last person who should be responding to this... however, I feel like Saw's gets more mentions than most when I see this question.

Saw's is the best in my opinion. Runner up to Rodney Scott's.

Saw's and Rodney Scott's are two that I would definitely recommend.

If we are just talking specifically about the BBQ itself, I'll also throw in Golden Rule in Hoover into the mix. Oft forgotten, but quite pure.

Ironically I don't even get BBQ at Saws, I get the burger.
