Yes. They was going to demolish it and build a new office tower. They also was looking at a spot near Boutwell as well.

Another semi-large building on a prominent street is getting revitalized. The former Sticks N Stuff building on 3rd Ave N is getting a $2.4M investment to position it as a multi-tenant office building.

Not in Birmingham proper. But what about Westlake Mall in Bessemer? Only reason I know about it is because I was sent there about a year ago. The Home Depot DC in McCalla was using it as an overflow lot.

Old Banks High School to be demolished! The story also says that property values have increased between 20% and 30% in that particular area of the city of Birmingham.

Currently the old Gibson Elementary school off Airport Road is being demolished. COH purchase the property last year.

A.G. Gaston Historic hotel had a phase 1 ceremony event where they had an outside sign fixture turnt on to celebrate the project.
