Usually there is a local Housing Authority, and often they maintain a list of homeowners/rental agencies which accept the vouchers. Have you tried locating the HA?

Good point, Macrina. Roebuck would be in the Jefferson County Housing Authority District, for the most part. People have to apply for Section 8 assistance through the Housing Authority anyway, so desianjay would have to go through that process and be accepted before finding a place.
