Inverness is the area that you'd want to be. There are apartments o'plenty in that area, particularly along Valleydale Road. I think the Valleydale Road/280 area would be Ground Zero for you. Once you get closer to I-65, you're probably a little further than would be ideal. Google Earth would probably supply you with all kinds of info.

Brookwood Mall straddles the Homewood/Mountain Brook line. It's on Lakeshore Parkway.

The Summit is at the intersection of Summit Parkway and 280. There are actually some apartments there as well...those are supposed to be nice.

cpg - You've been a great help. Thank you so much!

I have a ground zero? Cool!

Valleydale Road/280 has been entered into my 'Get the Heck out of here' notebook. Or in normal people terms, my 'have an organized move' notebook.

I don't have awful credit but I would say it's probably 'fair' to 'good'. Anyone know how difficult it can be to qualify for an apartment?

I've seen alot of info on bundled packages for utilities. Is it better to go individual or bundle? Or is it more of a personal preference kind of thing?

My guess? If illegal immigrants can qualify, you can too.

As far as the rest goes, I have no clue.

Seems like I don't have much to be concerned about then.......that's a trip dude.
