The Sheriff says he can't take a $4.1 million cut, does anyone know more about this situation, has he been taking cuts and thinks he can't function anymore or is he just not wanting to take any cuts?

He actually has said at some point that he could take up to a 1.9 million cut (I think that's the figure) and be okay, but any more than that and public safety will be affected.

Boy would that be a hoot, national Guard patrolling in Alabama, although it might not be much of a change from falusia Iraq in some areas.
