Hi all. I'm hoping for some information about Bremen, AL. How hot does it get in the summer? Is it very humid? I'm in the Tampa Bay area so I know about those lol. Does it snow much in the winter? How far is it from like a Walmart or Target store? And houses for sale on 3 or more acres? How much would a house like that run (ballpark figure is good).
Any other info is also welcome!
Thank you!

I live fairly close to Bremen in an area called Smoke Rise, which is closer to Birmingham and right off I-65. Cullman would be the closest town to Bremen with major amenities (approximately 20 minutes away). It's close to Smith Lake, which is a popular recreational body of water. Summers are hot and humid here, but the humidity won't be as bad as Tampa. We've has snow the past few winters (including a big one this past February - probably around 10 inches in Bremen), but sometimes there are stretches of several winters with little to none. Snow is not really a major factor here during the winters.

Housing will be relatively inexpensive, and there should be places with acreage in that area.

Do you have kids? I'm not sure how good the school system would be in Bremen. Alabama's rural school systems are often not that great and very poor. I would definitely check the area out carefully. Rural Alabama can be a big culture shock!
