Land for the mosque was bought in 2009 and foundation stone was laid by Ahamdiyya Muslim Khalifah (may Allah be his Helper) in 2010. On September 26, 2014, he inaugurated the mosque with a Friday sermon. He reminded his community what is purpose of a mosque in the light of Holy Quran:

Worship God and pay human rights is the purpose of true faith. Holy Quran has several verses which ask believers to do virtuous deeds. It uses the word 'amley saleh' for virtuous deed.
