Of course you're eligible! If you worked one second and earned one penny, you're eligible. Employers are only prohibited from telling employees they are not eligible as that can cause a former employee to not file. But telling you you're eligible when they know they will be throwing you under the disqualifying misconduct bus is perfectly legitimate.
