Well like everyone who complained about the new 3-series they don't offer the manual in the US market. After owning several new BMW's with manual, I guess its time to move on from the brand. Early suggestions would be moving onto the Genesis with manual or a Porsche. Where is everyone else moving too?

Which BMW models come with a dual clutch transmission? That’s what I would look at unless you are totally bent on having a clutch pedal.

New M3/M4 will still have a manual option in 2021.

Yes the pedal and stick is where the experience is.

As much as I like the M3/M4 a bit out of my price range being $20k more then the standard BMW.

so put a pedal and stick on your easy chair at home and get all the fun of driving without any of the costs and insurance issues. Since that's all that driving is to folks like you.

I've never driven a manual. I never understood the gears. I've always driven automatic, why do you not want to try automatic?

The reason I mentioned a dual clutch automatic is that you get the performance and economy of a manual but can either leave it in auto or shift manually - your choice.

I had one in my previous Audi S5 and didn’t miss the stick, especially in traffic. But I do understand why someone wants a stick shift, it’s fun.

Buy used.
You should be able to get an off-lease, low mile, 3-year old M3 for 30+% off original MSRP
That's what I did. I bought a 2011 M3 with a manual in 2014. It had less than 15K miles on it. Paid $50K and it was originally $80+K

This

It's a fun experience. I realize automatics and dual-clutch transmissions are the future and offer excellent performance, but there's something about kicking in the clutch that offers a unique driving experience.
