This raises a question. It seems that with the MLS, all realtors pretty much have access to the same properties. What differences do people find that makes them choose a particular realtor?

A new thing that started happening here was they became lazy (not working after 5 or weekends, maybe since the boom is gone so is that attitude) topped with dishonesty. Stay away from realtor's linked with a builder get a different realtor because that builder makes them more money than you so that is who they are loyal to.
We have also gone with the realtor on the sign at the house, Big mistake get your own realtor that way they are loyal to you only.
We finally found a guy that is honest, hard working, and is a bull dog if he has to be to get something done for you. So if anyone wants his name let me know. He is the best realtor we have ever had.
Good Luck!

hmm, hmmm, excuse me , not all realtors are lazy. I have spent many weekends, weeknights, nights on the forum, holidays, vacations, times when I have family plans but have cancelled- all for the sake of my clients- so I do not consider that lazy. I just had a client over at my house last night until 10pm. Then I stayed up until 1:30 doing paperwork so I could get the offer in this morning on behalf of my client. And no I am not dishonest and I am not affiliated with any builder. To stereotype all agents that way is completely unfair. There are a lot of good agents out there.

ok, just had to make that clear.

PS- By the way the advice you gave Nettle to look at Columbia Village and Lakewood..... it's out of their price range. But what do I know, I'm just the dumb, lazy agent! LOL! Sorry couldn't resist!

This is actually one of the things I've wondered about. Say a seller puts their listing with an office with multiple agents. If I happen to walk into that office will they be more interested in selling me a property originally listed with them or???
