Gads, great pictures.....such clarity! That river looks fabulous.....any river we've ever lived near had undercurrents or alligators, and was unusable....jealous here
Fantastic pics. I hope to make it to the market this Saturday and stock up on some peaches and berries! Isn't it currently huckleberry season? Laughing Dog Brewery out of Sandpoint has some great huckleberry ale. I bought some last weekend and it is very good.
I went huckleberry picking last week and boy it was slim pickings. Because it's been so hot the season came along much earlier than usual. So buy em while you can cause I think the season is just about done.
Reminds me why I hate winter. I miss all the people, all the leaves, walking around downtown in sandals, floating the river great times. Winter in Boise sucks.

I don't mind winter here, but it's a different world, isn't it?
Boise has such an amazing feel to it each season, but summertime in the park is almost the best you could find anywhere (although fall in Boise will always be my favorite place/time in the world).
I see so many changes.. I used to live just above that Park and Downtown. I was about to ask if they got the Sky Rise Condos downtown built, they were just starting on it when we left many years ago. There used to be a game store on 9th or 8th street downtown Black Stallion Games or something like that.. is that still there?
Thanks for the pictures, it brings back memories.
Winter in Boise is awesome! Skiing Bogus Basin.. Summer in the river or lakes, or hanging in the parks.
for a city its size.. boise is absolutely wonderful, with so much potential it isn't even funny... very family friendly place, as well as flavours for every other palet. Boise has restaurants and cultural venues that rival many other larger cities... winter is a bit different, but after living in a tropical climate.. having 4 distinct seasons is really quite nice.. although I do not care much for the whole flu aspect.. :P
