Aww, these pics make me miss Boise. It is one of the best small/mid-sized cities around!
I always think I miss the seasons. Then I fly back in the winter and quickly want to come home to California. But thats just me! Its been in the low 60s for highs here and I need a winter coat. lol
Ohhhh I miss Boise. I used to travel there a lot for work, almost was relo'd to Boise in 2001. I lived in Denver for almost 7 years, moved to So. Cal to help with some aging parents/health issues, but cant wait to get out of this jungle. Boise is probably #1 on my list as I dont think I will go back to Denver. These pics are great! Boise is a great city with great people, with lots to do, in my opinion.

Thanks for posting those pics, my wife and I really enjoyed them.
We'll be back to Boise the 2nd week in Sept. for another visit, but it's scenes like those that have wanting to move sooner rather than later.
Is there anyone who can compare/contrast Boise to Reno? At least maybe temperature and climate-wise.
I spent 5 years living in Reno, and liked the climate for the most part (could do without the gambling though). I do like four seasons, but growing up in Northern California, I'll freely admit that snowy, icy winters are a bit tough on me.
I can handle the cold and I actually like a little snow - as long as it only sticks around for a few days at a time. My last winter in Reno was their heaviest snowfall in 90 years. It was piled up six feet high on my front lawn after shoveling the driveway, and didn't disappear for nearly two months.
That was more then I could handle.
How are Boise's temps and snowfall in the winter months? Way back in 1991, I was accepted to BSU and decided not to go at the last minute. I've always regretted that and may have an opportunity to move again in the near fuure, so Boise's back on my list.
I've been to Boise once, and it's a great small city. What really impresses me is that instead of having a lifestyle center out in the suburbs, the upscale retailers have located downtown. You even still have a department store there. How on earth did you manage this?
These pictures are a year old and I am surprised that they are still posted here, they must still be linked on my website.
Anyways, I will probably have updated pics sometime soon.
