Wife and I want to relocate out west [ somewhere ]
hello, my name is jack, we are both retired now and we are a couple of simple folk that miss our children & grandchildren. our son is retireing from the army and bought a house in boise, says we should come out & we agree. we both love the mountians and because we live in the UP of michigan we don't mind the snow. we will miss the lakes we have lots of em up here so maybe if you would please help us go in the right direction. we live way in the woods and like are privacy like to be no more than a days drive and spend under $160,000. thank you for your time

I'd suggest Payette if you're into cool old Victorian homes at a bargain price. Riverfront properties are available too.

sorry about the misunderstanding, we do not want to move to boise. to big, hot,crowded & not enough water. I am a retired corrections officer [ 25yrs ad seg max security ] i need my privacy and peace & quiet. wife would like to be within a days drive from boise [could be a long day] i need good fishing,hunting & hikeing , i see your way up north [sandpoint] how many hours from boise are you. read your post about the gangbangers, wife says sounds like something i would have wote

Sandpoint is an 8 hour drive from Boise. But you can find plenty of places "out in the sticks" only a couple hours outside Boise...you don't have to go all the way to north Idaho.
