It if kind of interesting coming across those living quarters, I have seen some and usually a person has to tromp through a lot of trees and brush to find them.

If you're a homeless person in Boise I guess it is somewhat easy to live hidden in the deep cottonwood forests along the river, catching your fish and feeding yourself. The casual biker, jogger, rafter, etc. probably never notices any of this. I came upon a small camp on an island in the river in east Boise last fall when following some deer I was taking pictures of. This one looked more hippie than homeless, and the smell of "skunk" was intense
