I am relocating from Oklahoma. Need day laborers to move and do around the house stuff. In Oklahoma there are offices one can go to and pick them up and hire them for the day -- usually for about $10 an hour. Was wondering if there are any such places in Boise, Idaho. Thanks

Yep, check your messages.

Is this called networking? Like 80% of people find jobs like this right. Maybe that's true.

We use guys like that at work, there a couple of places in town that can provide laborers. Labor Ready is one place and there is another on Vista that we have had good luck with. Somehow we have been able to find skilled tradesmen that are semi-homeless and can keep them sober long enough to do carpentry and building projects for us. Just plan on 4 good days of work then they disappear for 4-5 days to drink away their paycheck.

Think it is called El-Ada Community Resource Center, 2250 S Vista. It's a public program that provides housing assistance and jobs for people. We've had pretty decent luck with them.
