Are there any nice resorts near Boise?
If not how about nice places to stay with the kids?
Thanks,
Megan

Are you interested about options right in town or nearby in the mountains?
There are some resortish type hotels in Boise with stuff for kids and there are some mountain resort areas nearby in Garden Valley, about an hour away, and further up in McCall area or Sun Valley about 2 hours away. A good reference would be to check out the states tourist website.

I am interested in a 20 minute range within Boise. We want to vacation and look at the city as a potential place to live.
We would like the resortish type hotels in Boise with stuff to do with kids.
Thank you

The links you sent were so helpful.
I already found something we love in the north end.
Thanks so much.
Any more advice is always appreciated.
Megan

There are some in the central area of town that have pools and stuff for kids, there is a nice resort type hotel on the river by the new whitewater park. Avoid the hotels along the interstate in west Boise, the better ones are in the downtown area and then you are near city parks and the greenbelt and the Discovery Center.
