I disagree on the gloves.
Hand washing is way more important. When you are wearing gloves, you don't feel your hand being dirty.
I have worked in glove and non glove states. I much prefer no gloves. I honestly believe it is more sanitary.
Of course an inspection of cooks hands should always be a part of the beginning of every work day.
I am no fan of California, but it is one of the most health conscience states and they do not require gloves.
Not to mention the sheer volume of unnecessary plastic going into the environment.
Just my opinion though.

Instead of posting about this here of all forums, why don't you call and speak with a manager about your concern?

That place is really popular and is usually packed with people (speaking of the downtown location). So either you happen to go when a worker does not have a restraint, or most people who eat there don't notice because The Fry Co appeal and popularity does not seem to be lacking.
