We've been in the area for a week. Loving it so far but still pretty much drowning in boxes. LOL

Need recommendation for a local dentist.....one who takes Tricare Dental for Retirees.

Also need to get my dog a bath. Any great and caring groomers around the Meridian area? He's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi so pretty much a bath and nail clipped is all he will need.

Thanks for all the help!

Try Aspen Dental on Eagle Road near McMillan. Not 100% sure about the Tricare, but it's a fairly good sized office so would be worth calling and asking.

We usually go to the Do it Yourself Doggie Depot on Ustick. They help with the nail clipping and we do the bathing ourselves. It's actually kind of fun. When we have someone else do it, we go to the Petsmart Grooming Center on Milwaukee by the mall. I'd be interested in hearing other recommendations for grooming.

We've always been happy with Zamzow's for pet grooming. There are several locations around the valley.

Thanks for the recommendations. The dog does much better with someone else bathing him and clipping his nails. He REALLY doesn't like me doing it and it's not one of my favorite things either. When he got to be about 2 years old I stopped doing it myself. We would refer to the last place we took him back in Alabama as his "Girlfriends." All I would have to say is "wanna go see your girlfriends?" and he would be waiting at the door to get in the car. They were so good with him. They charged about $50 but it was so worth it. He came out smelling and looking wonderful and not stressed out at all. We tried PetSmart a few times but he came from there all stressed out and sometimes they would keep him 7 hrs. WAY TOO LONG!

The one I used to have my ragdoll cat groomed during the summer was Canine Design in Boise. They are in the Bench area on W. Camas. They did a great job with her.
