Hi folks!

6 weeks now and we are really LOVING Boise!

I have read the other threads with recommendations, but most require a drive & I prefer to walk/bike.

Yelp is helpful, but I would love to hear thoughts from someone here who is currently seeing a stylist in these neighborhoods.

I prefer (but don't require) a non-toxic salon, and just need a really good cut (med length, thick, fine hair), no color.

I'm also a bit allergic to salons with "attitude", YKWIM? Happy to pay up to $65 for a great cut, but I really can't stand the snob factor. Any down-to-earth salons with really excellent (Sassoon-trained, for example) stylists?

Thanks in advance!

Scot Lancaster (? I think that's his last name) at Scot Christopher Salon on 9th between Idaho and Bannock. Stylish salon but very friendly. Scot is a great guy and amazingly talented.
