Google Maps says it's closed! Is it? How long are the construction delays? Will be going from north of Boise to I-15 after Labor Day.

So we'll have to follow a pilot car? Can I find out how long the wait might be?

Just drove through there a few days ago...they have the EB lanes moved over to the WB side, so 1 lane of traffic in each direction. Only delays would be if they need to stop traffic to blast rock. They're trying to mitigate a section where the rocks can slide in the winter.

There's also construction at Twin Falls where the I 84 bridge EB is being replaced but same thing there, EB is moved over to WB side.

I would doubt there would be pilot cars but we went through on a weekend so they weren't blasting and I'm not sure the extent of that. There was an accident a couple of weeks ago caused by the blasting, so just pay attention to the flaggers if they have any.

I would suggest a call to ITD if you're concerned about a long delay.
