I read somewhere that there is a project going on that is going to connect all of the ponds on the Boise river.

I found their website (on my laptop...can't remember it as I'm on my desktop computer now) last night and I wasn't able to tell if they had completed the project yet.

Can anyone give me more information about that?

It's currently under construction on the old industrial site next to Quinn's Pond. Will be named Esther Simplot Park, https://parks.cityofboise.org/parks-...lot-park-site/

It's just Quinns and the two-three ponds next to it.

Last I saw (I attended all of the meetings) there won't be direct connectivity. You'll still have to portage at a few places between all of the ponds and the river.

Thanks. Planning on buying a kayak when I get into town. Looks like a lot of fun.

Boise is a great place if you are into watersports. The river officially opens for rafting and kayaking Friday.
You will have to check out the Whitewater Park when you are here. Parkcenter Pond is fun for a lazy chill non extreme float.
