Someone was telling me it's pretty, quaint, a nice little downtown, some restaurants.

Sounds nice. Any comments on Eagle?

They think of themselves as the Beverly Hills of Ada County. But on the whole over-rated downtown and more expensive housing.

Yeah, the downtown is small, quaint, some historic buildings, upscale boutique shops and art galleries, and restaurants. There are more restaurants across State Street from downtown in a fancy office/retail area along the Boise River.

I don't think Eagle makes any claimes their downtown is the best or anything, it is kind of a surprise though if one didn't expect Eagle had a downtown.

Eagle and Meridian are dedicated to growth. Depending on your life experiences, you may be surprised to see your neighborhood continuously changing. The traffic headed north to the mountains increases every year. People from out of state-AZ- drive through in large RVs, or raised trucks.

The housing options, especially from CA, are terrific. With an improved economy, the jury is still out on employment opportunities. [MOD CUT]

Default Eagle Not BH.

Hi, SC alum,

Believe me I was only speaking in jest. Probably speaking more akin to the real estate ads and their thrust in the paper.

I have friends building in Mace and live in Two Rivers so I "think" I have friends there. I am also a CA retiree. In fact, I took my PERS and left before the first check was issued. In fact, I moved before I had quit, commuting for a year. I chose ID because I wanted to be somewhere that if a revolution comes, I will be in a State that will be on the side of Free America.

Best

I used to hear people say things like this and think they were slightly..."off".

Not anymore! Time and experience has shown me that we're headed for something ugly, unless a lot changes, quickly.
