Well for home style stuff, I guess I would suggest the Cracker Barrel, but I don't know if I would say it the best Breakfast in Boise. I think Goldies holds that title.

LOL! I was going to suggest the same exact thing. I hesitated on suggesting Cracker Barrel as it's a chain, but I know it's a local favorite. I'm with you, I think Goldies is the best.
Here are some excellent local places to get good breakfast.
Of course Goldy's. Bon Appetite has ranked it as one of America's top 10 breakfast restaurants, as referenced on their website. I remember reading the article too.

Chef Lou's in BoDo on 8th has breakfast.
The Trolley House on Warm Springs Avenue is also good and located in an hold historic trolley house left over from the days Boise had tolley lines.
There are a lot of non chains scattered around that serve breakfast, many restaurants downtown have weekend brunch and there are a lot of choices in different price ranges.

As everyone has mentioned, Goldy's is the place for breakfast in Boise. When we were going with the kids or with a big group our old stand-by was always Elmers. Definitely home-style.
Gotta go with the Capri on Main St. Great bacon and eggs at reasonable prices. Lunches are great too. They even have waitress reminicent of Flo 's attitude.
Homestyle cooking...you're missing out if you haven't checked out Moon's Kitchen downtown Boise. Scratch cooking, affordable and great service. It is a nostalgic diner experience.
