Default Squaw Butte Chapter

Thanks Steve, I saw that. Was hoping to glean information without bothering somebody there since we are still Texas waiting for our property to sell

I am a Texan as well, I lived in Houston/The Woodlands for 32+ years but am glad to be here in Boise. You will love it here except Winter can be a bit of a change from Texas, here "Winter" here means snow and ice often weekly from Dec-Feb plus or minus a month in between. Be sure to educate yourself about Idaho State Income Tax Law and the definitions of "partial year resident" and such before you move here. Idaho has a 7.4% State Income Tax and that could apply to Texas income as well, dependent on your residency status. So do your own research before you move here especially if you have any sort of retirement income or "lump sum" retirement income.

Thanks Steve for the information. We live in Magnolia and will still be part of the work force when we move to Boise. We have bought land in Eagle.
