Maybe it was seeing Million Dollar Baby this weekend, or maybe it was all the hype around the Pacquiao/Hatton fight - but I think I'm ready to take the leap and find a boxing gym that trains women.
I don't want to fight an actual bout, but I would like to train like a boxer and develop the discipline of a boxer.
I've been looking online, but this seems like a word of mouth thing.
Any info about boxing in Ada or Canyon counties would be greatly appreciated.
I know this isn't exactly boxing, but you might want to look at karate and ju jitzu...we also do some sparring. You can look up Superkicks in Meridian, great classes and lots of fun. Hopefully the monitors won't find this to be advertising..sorry if it is considered that..just wanted to refer to a good program!
Did you end up finding a place to train? I realize that your post was about a year ago, but I am in the position you were in then, and you might have found a place by now. I appreciate any input. My email is tklabo85@yahoo.com. Thanks.
Hi, I have been doing some private one on one boxing lessons. My Name is Brian and I am a personal trainer at Fitness Together in southeast Boise. I am not sure if you are still looking or not but I have a boxing background and have a young lady that I have trained who is about to compete. It is not necessary to compete so if you are just wanting to learn how and have a fun workout or you want to compete let me know.
