It was really gross walking outside.
We took a little trip down to Salt Lake City and parts of the roads were really slick.
They ate all my roses off my rosebushes, and the leaves off of the trees.
The kids were absolutely mortified. There was no way that they would even step foot outside.
The back of our property was BLM land.

No, it's not a yearly occurance.
That was the worst year that I have ever seen it.
They ate everything. My older kids were little, they are grown now.
My 7 year old has never seen anything like that.

It wasn't a movie... it was Night Gallery with Rod Serling. He's the guy that did Twilight Zone and then, later Night Gallery.
Old show....
Sometimes, you can find reruns on cable.

I will just repeat what Idahomama said, in SE Boise it is very common to see raccoons, foxes, deer, bald eagles, and my fav blue herons. I'm not big on bugs either, but this isn't the south. Around the river has more bugs but it really is nothing to worry about. I went running along the river last week and ran into (almost literally) two deer that were hanging out on the trail by Municipal Park and further down the trail by Warm Springs Golf Course I saw a bald eagle.

Default Opening of pest season

Wow!
My phone just rang off the hook today. Wasps, spiders, ants, but no earwigs.....yet.

The wasps are really bad in Star and Middleton this year. Wonder why? You guys breeding em there? Last year Eagle seemed to be the hot spot. The mice were no way near as bad as last year threwout the valley.

Top Gun-

DO you have ladybugs, praying mantis, butterflies there in Boise?
Do you put your clothes in moth balls or cedar chests?

I the moth ball thing is a good idea, got a customer dealing with clothing moths.
The suit I was married in was eaten up
I still would fit in it too. (wishful thinking)
The wasps love all those new cedar fences to make thier nests, and I love the smell of a cedar chest..? Aphids are on the go too. Check your roses.
