Hi there I'm Tyler Ryan 35y/o man who works in the medical field. I'm looking to get away from the heat and humidity and all the not so nice people that have almost taken over my wonderful state.

Criteria of what I'm looking for in a new home:

1. Place that has plenty things to do in or outdoors.

2. Snow snow snow snow: Lived in heat and hurricanes my whole life would like to see what the other half live in.

3. A friendly population, are the people friendly are standoffish?

4. Being a single man I'd be remiss if I didn't ask is it a big dating area, do men in your area have trouble finding dates.

FYI: I'd like to avoid any comments regarding the state of your economy and the financial state of things, my experience has been those conversations rarely are about helping more about complaining. So lets assume they don't pertain to me.

Than u So much in advance for all ur help & Info!

Well, you may want to start with a map. Idaho is not in the Midwest.

Could we have another Iowa vs. Idaho confusion here?? That aside, Boise is ideal for all the items you listed. Plenty of indoor things (concerts, Sports, etc.) and endless outdoor activities both hot and cold weather. Snow? Yes, faily mild here in Boise but plenty of snow within a very short distance. Friendly population - Check. Probably some of the friendliest people you will meet in the U.S. no joke. Dating scene? We'll I will have to defer to some of the other folks here. I have been married 22 years, so I am out of my league here. I'm still trying to get a date night every once in awhile with my wife. LOL
