Oh my goodness! I apologize if I'm duplicating threads, but Sue has another letter coming out:

W is for Wasted (Kinsey Millhone Mystery): Sue Grafton: 9780399158988: Amazon.com: Books

I first read her books at the age of 6! Alongside, Judy Blume, of course....

I have been reading her books for a long time and it now seems that it is every two or so years before she puts out a new book. I keep wondering if she or I will still be around by the time she gets finished with Z.

Great! I am waiting for the entire alphabet to come out and then plan on rereading them in the correct order.

Yippee!

What did you folks think of "Kinsey & Me"? I liked the short stories, but the pieces in the second half didn't really grab me. I know they were more biographical pieces (with identities blurred),.

Yippee is right. I do enjoy that series.

I read the Kindle sampler and agree on the stories. The mystery was good as I would have expected but the other short story was just depressing and awful. I hope she doesn't stop writing a la Hemingway. She's certainly slowed down as she approaches Z is for ...

I did not buy the full work because it was to me way overpriced for what it is. It will be cheap on amazon in a paperback down the road and it certainly doesn't have mysteries that are that good. Her novels are far better because of the elaborate narratives and charater development.

Really good and exciting, however there are one or two I have read which just did not grab me. But I read anyway! You have to read the series of course

I've been wondering what happens after Z as well. Will she start another series or find a way to keep Kinsey alive? I'm a bit behind on the series, though. I tend to do that so I'm never impatiently waiting for the next book to come out.
