Coming in November.
I've already got mine on pre-order.
This was what Samuel Clemens did not want published until he had been dead 100 years.
In his words: "...dead, and unaware, and indifferent," and therefore free to speak his "whole frank mind."
Anyone else interested?
I haven't ordered it but I spoke with our head librarian last week and she has it on her "to do" list. You know I'm down with anything written by the GREATEST AMERICAN AUTHOR who ever lived.
I have it on pre-order as well and am looking forward to it as his life seemed just as extraordinary as his characters'. Mark Twain is one of my very favourite authors and wit so this is a must !
Finally got my copy. Whew just volume one out of three?
Looks like me and this book shall be twain for a while.
I really have to get to the Bancroft Library at UC Berkley.
