Netwit. I downloaded Night Watch the other evening and I just can't get into it. I am on chapter seven and I keep hoping it gets better but I don't think it's going to. I hate to give up on a book but this is just not my cup of tea I suppose.

Amber, do you have an Amazon Prime account? If so or if even not, you should seriously consider a Kindle. There are lots of ways to get free books using a Kindle. Private message me for more information.

Well, I re-read the entire series since I enjoy them so much, and I just finished The Sixth Watch, and I have to say I was surprised by the ending! If you've finished it netwit, let me know what you thought.

I did finish it a while back and I thought I had posted my thoughts about it back then but obviously that post somehow never made it from my head to here. If I remember correctly, I thought that the middle dragged a bit, as though maybe the writer had written beyond the natural end of the series. And then it picked up for me and if I remember correctly, the ending was a surprise. I've read quite a few books since and right now my memory isn't the best.

I think he's grown tired of writing in Anton's world, so I agree that the middle was a bit stale. He kind of forced some travel on Anton, but there wasn't the usually beer and pub discussions of previous books. I thought those conversations in his head were kind of interesting, so this book felt rushed in that way.
